What the key tasks will look like

As Manager Accounts Payable & Treasury, you will oversee and ensure the efficient and high-quality operation of Accounts Payable and Treasury activities across both companies (DKV Belgium and ERGO Insurance). You will lead a team of professionals while acting as a key partner within the Finance function, ensuring strong collaboration, reliable processes, and continuous improvement in your domain.

Team leadership and development

  • You will lead, coach, and motivate a team of employees.
  • You will develop competencies through training and follow-up.
  • The manager will be responsible for recruitment and performance management.
  • You will foster a collaborative and accountable work environment.

Operational management

  • You will ensure daily processing of invoices and bank activities.
  • The manager will be responsible for month-end and quarter-end closings.
  • You will ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance of processes.
  • You will organize and monitor workflows.

Process optimization and governance

  • You will continuously improve processes and systems.
  • The manager will be responsible for internal controls and compliance.
  • You will contribute to optimization projects.

Business partnering and collaboration

  • You will act as a key stakeholder contact.
  • You will provide expertise and support.
  • The manager will be responsible for communication flow.

Project and change management

  • You will lead and contribute to improvement projects.
  • You will define objectives and monitor progress.

Required skills and competencies

Technical skills

  • Strong accounting knowledge and regulatory understanding.
  • Expertise in AP and Treasury processes.
  • Experience with SAP FI and financial systems.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of compliance and tax frameworks.
  • Professional proficiency in Dutch, French, and English.
